Exposition
The characters in my book is Bryon, he's sixteen, he's a big guy, dark hair, eyes like a Saint Bernard puppy and Bryon lives in a rough part of town. Mark, Mark was Small, had golden eyes, and his grin was like a friendly lion, he was much stronger than he had looked, him and Bryon are best friends, they were like brothers, they lived together since Bryon was ten and Mark was nine, Mark's parents had shot each other in a drunk argument, Bryon's mom then felt sorry for Mark and took him in. Finally their is M&M, M&M was his nickname because of his addiction to eating the candy M&M's, Bryon had never seen M&M's without that candy, M&M was a serious guy, he had a trusting look on his face, he did smile sometimes, he was a nice guy even though he was kinda strange, he had big grey eyes, charcoal colored hair down past his ears and down to his eyebrows, he is thirteen, wore an old army jacket all the time that was was really big on him and he would go barefoot even after it started getting cold, and M&M was a hippie. What's happening in my book is that Bryon has to find a way to give the bar tender money since he kinda knows the bar tender, Charlie. Charlie has been letting him slide with getting free cokes. But now Bryon has been charged with three dollars worth of coke, if he doesn't pay up soon, Charlie would have to beat it out of him. Even though Bryon and Charlie were friends, Bryon knew that Charlie meant business too.

Information on my book
The book I'm reading is titled "That Was Then, This Is Now".
The author is S.E. Hinton.
I think the book is going to be about a group of friends that have struggles because in the front cover it shows kids and the same author who wrote "The Outsiders" wrote the book "That Was Then, This Is Now" so I feel like it's going to be in that sort of lifestyle.
